Lahr's Transmission

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Brought my 700r4 in for a rebuild because it was slipping. Guy says no problem, I'll have it back to you before the weekend. Ok no problem. So Friday comes around no call. ( customer service does not exist at lahrs.) long story short after many excuses and BS, trans is done 5 weeks later.... $1500later Get it back in my car made sure converter was seated ect. Ect. (Tv cable he gave me was out of package and didn't fit the tranny) Only has reverse and 2nd gear..... I'm [redacted]. Yanked the tranny back out, in my driveway. In December.... Bring it back guy says he'll fix it. I call back 2 days later to check progress. Hasn't touched it....and on top says he's leaving country to go on vacation.... I'm [redacted] so I told him at this point I need my money back, and that's when he freaks out calls me a [redacted] young [redacted], says my brother "looked" at his daughter who worked the front desk when we picked the tranny up. So at this point I tell him I'm completely over it and need my money back. He says converter in non refundable. ( paid $320 for said B&M, received inboxed Dayco) I tell him idc I need my money back. And he hung up the phone. The guy has my 1500 bucks and my tranny and disappeared. End of story. I got robbed by lahrs transmission.
