I recently relocated from Florida.I was having car trouble. LaFortune's was the 2nd est. I received. The first estimate . They where going to charge me for things I didn't need. It may have been an honest mistake. Due to lack of knowledge. Either way I'm glad I found ansome honest intelligent mechanic I can trust. I will not go anywhere else.
The repair shop has had my car for over 5 months and it is still not repaired.I have not been able to work because I do not have my vehicle.I have not had my car since November 30 of 2012. My car went in for a simple repair job, and in the past 5 months there has been one problem after another, supposedly other 'found' problems with the vehicle.I believe they initially made a mistake somewhere and have ever since tried to rectify the problem, to no avail. Since they have had my car for over 5 months, I have been unable to work, and therefore since no money is coming in, it remains rather difficult for me to pay them for a repair that is not even finished! I find this extremely ludicrous, and the logic behind this seems to elude them.I have been patient--very patient--with them, and I have given them some money towards the myriad of esoteric repairs they have supposedly done to my vehicle. But I would expect patience from them as well in getting paid for services rendered, when I am able to return to work and make some money. It remains utterly absurd that I have been forced to wait this long for repairs to my car and this then is the gist behind my complaint.Thank you.Sincerely,[redacted]Desired SettlementI simply wish to have my car repaired so I can go back to work. If they are inept in performing services to my vehicle, then I would want to remove my car from their premises and have another repair shop repair the problem(s). Again, I find it exceedingly ludicrous that I have had to wait this long to get my car back, and the car is, at this moment, on May 17, 2013, still not fixed.Preposterous, indeed.
