Review: I purchased a new heating/air unit from them almost a year ago now and continue to have problems with that they refuse to fix. First starting from a sewage smell coning from the unit in the summer then more issues in the winter. They have been out here so many time without replacing the defective unit that they now ignore my calls and when they do take them they give an excuse of they are waiting for a reply back from [redacted]. This has been going on for almost 5 months now. That is after going the ENTIRE winter with constant service calls because the unit would rattle, pulsate and make the house hum. It was so bad that my son could not even sleep because of the high levels of noise and pulsating coming from the unit. Since the season has changed they started to ignore me. Now that it is no longer winter they have taken the approach of its not making those noises anymore because its not cold so it must have magically fixed itself. I am so fed up with the run around and poor service that I am contacting the Revdex.com before I go any further. Please help me because I can not be ignored anymore.Desired Settlement: I want a new unit or a refund. No more service calls to try to repair it, a new unit. If they will not do that I want my money fully refunded.

Mr. [redacted] has been a customer of ours since 2009. On April 28 , 2014, our company installed a[redacted] for him. Indoor fan coil is located in attic. Two dayslater he called and said outdoor unit was noisy. Our service technician, [redacted] M[redacted], checkedthe system and made adjustments to it. Then in the mean time his son says he can hear a noise inthe wall in his bedroom. We went back and ran new linesets for him. Then he called and said hehad a musty, moldy smell. Service technician could not smell anything, but he went and boughta deodorant gel and put in duct work. After that, his compressor went out and we replaced that. Some time went by before he called back about the unit making noise. Service technician call [redacted]Service and talked to [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] gave him other ideas of what to do, and he did them all.Homeowner still calling about the noise. Mr. [redacted] called the homeowner and talked to him and toldhim he would get back with him.

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[There are some things missing from the reply. I have never spoken to Mr. [redacted] and he has never called us. [redacted] has repeatedly said that we will hear from someone from [redacted] but this has never happened. The Ladysmiths tech, [redacted], said that he was not able to fix our unit and that it needs to be replaced. He said that either [redacted] would replace it or he would get Ladysmith Heating and Air to replace it and they would deal directly with [redacted]. After that nothing happened. That took place after they failed to repair the compressor and then replaced it. That still did not fix all of the issues I have had with the unit. Lastly I stopped by the Ladysmith office to get them to contact [redacted] because nothing was happening. They made some calls and told me they would call me later that day which they did. They told me that [redacted] would along with Mr [redacted] would come to my house the next Monday. On that Monday [redacted] came alone and said that there was nothing that he could do. The winter is right around the corner and I will continue to have all of the issues with the unit that were only stopped by the warm weather soon.]

Revdex.com spoke with the business. The business has the forms from [redacted] and at this time needs to set up an appointment to come to the home to gather the reading on the unit to turn that information in to [redacted].

Regards,

Filling out forms for [redacted] will not take care of my complaint. After canceling the appointment made for last Thursday Ladysmith did come out on Friday. Their tech. Jason got the information that [redacted] requested. However, as I told him the problems with the heat pump does not appear until the temperature goes to freezing. The day was mild when he gathered the information for [redacted]. This past Sunday night 10/18/15 when the nightly temperature dropped the heat pump did start to make noise. Please keep my complaint open because nothing has been done to resolve the problem with the heat pump which either needs to be replaced or a complete refund issued. Thank You,[redacted]

[[redacted] has scheduled multiple visits and has only showed up once. I would like to believe this will actually resolve things this time but if the past is a indicator they will not show up and if they do nothing will be accomplished. All that being said I would like to keep this complaint open seeing how the visit will only take place after the 7 day window to respond is past. ]
