Was your contractor present for the roof inspection?
If you disagree with the results of this inspection then ask the insurance company for a reinspection.
If they do not agree to a roof inspection contact the Department of insurance.
I am an insurance adjuster myself. I call for inspections using this company and another company.
You yourself can call the other company Hancock and pay for their inspection of the roof as well. Or you can go to a greater expense and hire an engineering firm to perform an inspection of the roof. They would have no choice if an engineer came out and found damages warranting replacement of the roof. Specifically if you used one of the more known engineering firms in the U.S. Haag Engineering is among the top. There are more that I have experienced over my years as an Independent Insurance Adjuster.
I wish you well but I would trust the inspection of this company over the roofing contractor because this company got paid for their service either way and the roofing contractor only gets paid if the roof is replaced.
I was almost done with my training, which took a little longer than anticipated with the i-pad glitches as I kept having technical difficulties where the i-pad kept freezing up during the training. I addressed this and was told to try using a laptop, at this point I was eager to finish so I went and purchased one.
I received a call from Ladder Now (Seek Now), saying I was no longer needed for the job as it was taking me too long to complete the training yet nobody ever gave me a deadline. They knew I was currently working full time so I worked on the training when I could. If they needed me to complete it by a certain date/time they should of told me as I would of done whatever it took to have it done promptly, and prior to the deadline.
I'm only 19 years old and spent my entire savings buying everything they told me I would need. To make such a commitment and purchase a new truck, ladder, roofing boots, license, iPad and insurance and a laptop, I am in disbelief after devoting all this time and money, that a company would do this to someone especially considering there was never a date given to me.
I admit I was not able to get through it as quickly as I had hoped but I also didn't expect or anticipate the issues I was experiencing with the i-pad. This was also all new to me so I didn't want to race threw the training, as I was learning a lot.
It is very hard to believe a company would do this to someone and not even reach out with additional information surrounding a timeline expectation if there was one but nobody ever said anything to me ever.
I adhered to all requirements and spent money purchasing items as requested. I contacted the CEO, Russ Carroll who did not offer to refund me for anything I purchased especially things like the insurance and the license which was non-refundable. I don't understand how a company could or would do this to a 19 year old boy, knowing I used my entire savings. This shows what kind of place they run and obviously don't care about people.
