I had paid for a month's membership for December 2013 but I was not able to use it because the therapist was on leave for 3 weeks. When she got back, the service that she told me she can, she said she cannot render because she was not licensed to do it. So I tried to contact the staff and requested for a refund. The staff said they are trying to request their manager to do the refund to my credit card but she is not available to be contacted. I waited many weeks and tried to call their location many times. I also sent her several e-mails. Our response below is an attempt to provide clarification on our interactions with [redacted] regarding this matter. We apologize for any miscommunication; however members of LaVida Massage's staff repeatedly told Ms. [redacted] that unfortunately we did not offer the acupuncture service she requested. We did, however, let Ms.[redacted] know that any of our therapists on staff could provide acupressure or trigger point therapy. Even though the therapist she had on her first visit to our center was gone several weeks in December, there were still several therapists available who could have provided the same service during this time. The staff also informed Ms. [redacted] that she had one remaining session on her account and was welcome to use it at any time.More info received from the business 2014-07-01On June 30, LaVida Massage opted to refund the client $89.95. We sincerely hope that the client will be happy with this action and deem the resolution a successful one. Thank you.
