This is my first-ever Revdex.com reviewI'm a very busy person, but I feel the need to put this out there La Fuente (lafuente.com) = ABYSMAL customer service When the item we ordered was delayed, we only found out by chasing down the shipping companyFor the first scheduled delivery it turned out it hadn't even left PA, let alone arrived at the Avon MA terminalWhen the delivery was then rescheduled twice more (and took almost as month vs the 8-business days we'd been quoted), I expected some kind of apology and shipping charge refundInstead, my wife got an unexpected call in the evening interrupting dinner and demanding she provide the names of the people at the shipping company who misled us I understand, mistakes happenAnd yes, file this under "first-world problems"But when I called to complain and insist on their doing something to make it right, I got excuses -- and then an insistence that the sequence of events I'd documented could not have happened -- that was the final strawSeriously, LaFuente? Good luck staying in business when you mislead your customers, effectively call them liars, and refuse to own your mistakes or try to make them right Anyway, friends -- please do me a favor and stay away from lafuente.com (And the shipping company, also to blame, was estes-express.com.)
Purchased three items for $from La Fuente Imports that were much darker than the "honey" color they advertisedPrior to purchase, I called to verify the furniture color would match my previous purchases from them and was assured they would During the resolution phase, La Fuente provided me with several different excuses for the darker color (i.ethe color of the rustic pine furniture changed 2-years ago; wax is mixed with stain)The initial resolution was to wave the restocking fee, but I had to pay $for shipping/handling to return the furniture to La Fuente The second resolution was to wave the restocking fee and give me 10% off the purchase priceNow, unfortunately, I am stuck with furniture that I cannot use and the loss of $so I cannot afford to buy the furniture I needOverall, I am extremely unhappy with the customer service at La Fuente Imports and will never do business with them again
Stay away from these people. When I first ordered my coffee table they quoted a price. A few days later they tried to extort more money from me. I refused and they changed thier price back to the orginal amount.
They promised delivery in 8 weeks. 8 weeks came and went and no coffee table. A month later they still would not deliver it. I wanted my money back and they could keep the table. Instead they said they would keep my money and the table. Lawsuits were threatened. Then they wanted more money (cash wired to thier account) .
These people should not be in bubusiness

La Fuente (lafuente.com) = ABYSMAL customer service.
When the item we ordered was delayed, we only found out by chasing down the shipping company. For the first scheduled delivery it turned out it hadn't even left PA, let alone arrived at the Avon MA terminal. When the delivery was then rescheduled twice more (and took almost as month vs the 8-10 business days we'd been quoted), I expected some kind of apology and shipping charge refund. I understand, mistakes happen. And yes, file this under "first-world problems". But when I called to complain and insist on their doing something to make it right, I got excuses -- and then an insistence that the sequence of events I'd documented could not have happened -- that was the final straw. Seriously, LaFuente? Good luck staying in business when you mislead your customers, effectively call them liars, and refuse to own your mistakes or try to make them right.
Anyway, friends -- please do me a favor and stay away from lafuente.com (And the shipping company, also to blame, was estes-express.com.)
