La Crosse Fireplace Company

I have dealt with Lacrosse fireplace once, and only ONCE, I was guaranteed to have a part by a certain date, [redacted] whoever he is, I guess hes a salesman, terrible one at that, called the warehouse and checked on a part for me and even called me back stating the part was shipped. When I called to check on it the following week [redacted] was on vacation, and the part would not be there until the following week, I expressed my displeasure. They called another warehouse and reordered the part, called back the next day, yep its ordered wont be in until next week, ok now I am really happy. The guy that we talked to that time said and I quote " I dont know why they didnt next day air it to you" Thanks for telling me that. My wife calls and askes to talk to the owner, but he was to busy on another phone call, she says ok have him call me, Well no call (they say he called and left a message, I dont beleive that, as long as I have had a cell phone I have always got my messages or I can see a missed call, Lie number 3. Finally on Monday the 23 two weeks after the parts are supposed to be here, they say yeup its on the fedex truck for a delivery between 11am and 1pm ( thats when there fedex truck shows up) guess what no part, they say I guess we got it standard ground. Lie #4..
I would never reccomend Lacrosse Fireplace to anyone, They were very unhelpful, very rude, and would not do anything to help a paying customer. And by the way they make you pay for the part upfront, that way they dont care if your part arrives or not, they got there money.
