I took my turbo to be repair. It took like 4 weeks to get job done. I called Luis Chavira to ask why he was taking so long and he said he ordered the wrong part so I had to wait more.
At the end he finished it and gave us the turbo and before installing it our mechanic told us it wouldn't work. So I called Luis Chavira in LC Turbo, and he said it was working and the job he performed and had 1 year warranty. So our mechanic installed it and turbo didn't work.
So I took the turbo back to the shop and Luis Chavira told us at first he was gonna help us and hours later another guy called us and he said to pay them another 300$ more .
He said it was our fault and that would void the warranty when we told them at first that our mechanic told us it wouldn't work and it didn't.
Luis Chavira was rude and unprofessional. Beware of this business and read online reviews. Stay away!!!
I'll start legal actions!
Review: We sent a turbo to LC Turbo for repair after speaking to them on the phone. They claim they rebuilt the part, but that it was lost in shipping. We have not received the part, and the Supplier refuses to give a refund.
On behalf of our customer (#[redacted]) we sent a turbo to LC Turbo for repair from [redacted] Pacific. LC Turbo claims to have repaired the unit and shipped it on 8/12/2014. The unit was reported to be "lost". On 8/26/2014 we requested a refund. LC Turbo, specifically [redacted] Chavira, claimed the part was located and would be returned on 8/27/2014. On 8/27/2014, [redacted] reported the turbo had in fact been lost, that the box was returned to them empty.
Refund was requested. [redacted] refused, claiming this was a carrier issue and he would not refund the price paid to have the turbo repaired. Explained that if the carrier lost his part, he can file a claim with them, but our transaction, a rebuilt turbo in exchange for the fee, has not been satisfied.
Luis refused. Left with no other choice, we must purchase a turbo from the manufacture, and since the original part was lost, an additional 520.00 must be paid for the core. [redacted] states he has filed a claim with the carrier, but they denied his claim, refunding him only 100.00. Our loss is 2005.00 as a result of LC turbo failing to return the part we sent them for repair. This includes the 1485.00 we paid them for repair of a part they did not return, and the additional 520.00 we had to pay since we could no longer provide a core as a result of the lost part.Desired Settlement: To resolve this matter, we are requesting a refund of the amount paid for a rebuilt turbo we did not receive, 1485.00, and the core charge we had to pay as a result, 520.00, for a total of 2005.00. Once received, we would consider this matter resolved.
Refund should be send to [redacted] Colonial Administration. ATTN: [redacted]

Response:
In regards to complaint [redacted] I would like to give my
response. We do offer warranty on the turbos only and that we do not issue any
refunds! And we even have it in the bottom part of our invoices and all of our
customers are required to sign the invoices. In regards to my customer [redacted], he claims that his turbo failed after 300 miles of use but
this customer never gave us the opportunity to check or inspect what was wrong,
he never gave us the change to check our work and to check if it was really our
mistake. He never brougth the turbo back so we can inspect it. With that being
said, we did not had the chance to give the warranty that we offer in our
invoices. The customer have had problems with other business before so we are
not the first one he complain about. We are offering warranty but we do not
issue any refunds and the customer is aware of it because he signed the
invoice. He did things his way but we do not even know if it was our error or
his because he never brougth the turbo back for inspection.
Sincerely,
Luis Chavira
