On approximately, January 17, 2020 I was given a bid to do the following work: paint screened pool enclosure, rescreen enclosure, replace doors and hardware on enclosure and pressure wash screened enclosure and exterior of home. The agreed price was $2,650. The work was completed the week of 1/20/20. I paid 1/2 upfront and the remainder was due at job completion. On approximately January 23, 2020 the company indicated they were done and I did a walk around of the area and things looked in order so I paid the balance in full. Several days later I was on the roof of my home and discovered that the top portion of the enclosure was not painted. This was the entire enclosure at the top that was not paid and was not visible from the ground. Also, a new door was not properly installed and would not close. The gutter was not properly installed and was just dangling form the roofline. I went back and forth for several weeks and the vendor informed me he was sick and could not fix at this time but assured me it would be taken care of. Due to Covid 19 and his illness, he did not work for 30-45 days and he informed me he would begin working again on April 1, 2020. On April 15, 2020 he stated he would be there to make repairs. Did not show and I contacted and said would be there 4/15/20, again no show. I called and texted at least 5 times the week of 4/20/20 and there was no response. Then on 4/25/20, I was working in the yard and the hanging that was hanging from the roof fell down and struck me in the head. I immediately called, texted and emailed with no response. All I want is for the unfinished work to be completed and the items fixed that were not properly installed. Clearly being avoided and the vendor is not taking responsibility for his work. As a person over 60, I feel I was taken advantage of and health put at risk with the gutter falling on me. I have pictures of the work not completed and the repairs not made.
