While Kurtz has such beautiful grounds and our wedding was absolutely picturesque, I would not recommend working with them for your upcoming weddingThe staff is terribly unresponsive and unprofessionalWe even had a full-time wedding planner and it was still extremely difficult to deal with Kurtz staffThey are quite disorganized and really give you attention the week leading up to your weddingWhile Anne the owner, loves to mention that Kurtz prices are competitive, they are quite highBeware of additional chargesThere is a venue fee charge that she also charges tax AND gratuity of 18% on the cost of the venue! As well, it seems that the prices keep changing all the time and Anne loves to promise you a million things so before you sign the contract, make sure you explicitly get in writing exactly what you have agreed upon There are a few other venues in Niagara that are just as beautiful with much better service, professionalism and value
