I do not accept KTVA explanation of the situation because it does not address what I am asking. I am demanding KTVA give me a waiver to sign so I can watch another CBS station either NY or LA. obtaining the broadcaster's consent, either through “must-carry” status or negotiating for “retransmission consent.”  Denali Media elected to negotiate with [redacted] for “retransmission consent.” [redacted] was unable to reach an agreement with Denali Media to renew the retransmission consent agreement that allows [redacted] to retransmit KTVA.  As a result, [redacted] is currently not authorized to retransmit the station.
