K&S Sewer and Drain

I hired Joe K (K&S Sewer) to help my parents by cleaning out their sewer lines. Joe was polite and cleaned out the lines. He also looked at a leak in the bathroom. He told my dad that he would take the parts and special order the replacements. He promised to return to finish the job as soon as the parts came in. He then collected $175 extra dollars from my dad and said he would call when the parts came in. Fast forward 4 weeks when I asked my parents how the repairs went and they said they had not heard from Joe. I called him immediately and he said 'I forgot all about them! I am so sorry. I will come on Friday at 12 (which was 2 days after I called). On Friday at 12:40 Joe had still not arrived so I called him. He said he was running late and would be there by 1:30. He never showed up. I called, left messages and texted him without any response. The friend who recommended him also called him and he said he hurt his knee and couldn't work for 6 months. Joe said I should call him right away to get things straight. I called - he didn't answer and never called back. My friend called him again a week later and Joe told him to $%!# off and what was he going to do if he (Joe) didn't return the money? The answer is I filed a complaint with APS for stealing money from my 87+ year old parents and taking advantage of my dad.
