This client came in with a request for a diagnosisMy diagnosis was different from one he had from a prior establishment, however, he had already made up his mind about the repair he wanted, which wasnt really a repair as much as a high performance modificationI agreed, that if that was his wish, I would do itHe asked for pricing, I gave it to himHe changed his mind several times on the magnitude of the work, but not the work itselfUltimately, he decided on a course of actionHe gave a deposit 60% smaller than he said, and I had to chase him even for thatMuch of the time involved was either him not following through, or parts issues due to the nature of the work he wantedI spent a fortune in overnight shipping and custom parts in order to close the projectBottom line is, having sent nearly ten times what I would be paid to get things done, I was not paid for the workI was however threatened by him and his familyMy employees were berated and threatenedHe attempted several times to incite a physical altercationHe broke into my office twice...I could go on, but the end all be all is there is nothing that can be done to satisfy a thiefHe still owes thousands of documentable dollarsI will likely never see it

wish, I would do it. He asked for pricing, I gave it to him. He changed his mind several times on the magnitude of the work, but not the work itself. Ultimately, he decided on a course of action. He gave a deposit 60% smaller than he said, and I had to chase him even for that. Much of the time involved was either him not following through, or parts issues due to the nature of the work he wanted. I spent a fortune in overnight shipping and custom parts in order to close the project. Bottom line is, having sent nearly ten times what I would be paid to get things done, I was not paid for the work. I was however threatened by him and his family. My employees were berated and threatened. He attempted several times to incite a physical altercation. He broke into my office twice...I could go on, but the end all be all is there is nothing that can be done to satisfy a thief. He still owes thousands of documentable dollars. I will likely never see it.
