Mr. [redacted] signed a contract for a roofing job. That job is paid in full and finished. He signed the final document agreeing it was finished. He then contacted [redacted] for a separate job, an add-on porch. [redacted] told him he would do it, gave him a price and a contract. At this point, Mr. [redacted]...

has only paid for materials. [redacted] ordered lumber and it was delivered to Mr. [redacted]’s home. He started framing the porch, but he was injured. He could not do any work because of this. He told Mr. [redacted] of this information. He did not purchase the metal for the porch yet. Out of the cost Mr. [redacted] paid, we do owe him about $1500. [redacted] offered to refund him $3000 out of good faith and because he cannot finish the job due to his injury and Mr. [redacted] would have to hire someone else.  Mr. [redacted] refused this. We are now working through our lawyer. We did the best we could with the situation that happened.
