Review: K&R Remodeling Owner, [redacted] (last name escapes me)entered into a contract to remodel my kitchen. He fulfilled most of what was agreed upon, but upon being paid in full, never returned to finish the job. Items left outstanding included sanding down and re-hanging a set of French Doors, replacing molding along newly installed hard-wood floor (it was discovered that members of his construction crew used three different sized floor moldings along my cabinets), sanding and repainting a cabinet, and installing missing and cracked pieces of my hard-wood floor. Despite several calls and one email, the owner of this company failed to return to my residence to honor his obligation.Desired Settlement: Due to the fact that this contractor never returned to finish the work for which he was paid, we were forced to hire another carpenter to complete the job; his fee was $300. While I'm not very hopeful that I will ever recover this amount, it would be the honest and appropriate resolution.
