Kovens paid in full by insurance relating to water look damage. Contractor has not completed work and does not return calls.Unit flooded due to sprinkler malfunction. [redacted], President of Kovens agreed to act as general contractor to finish work and restore. [redacted] provided full payment to contractor through condo corporation. Work has not been completed and contractor does not return phone calls.Desired SettlementComplete work or provide compensation for alternate contractor to finish workBusiness Response Although we believe that all of the items related to the flood damage have been completed, there were several additional items that the homeowners requested. Most of these items have been done as well, at our expense, and we are working on obtaining the required parts to complete the remaining item. We will schedule the small bit of remaining work when those parts are available. Consumer Response The contractor does not return my calls. My request is that the contractor return my calls and meet with me to resolve the remaining outstanding items. This is in the interest of both parties and to the benefit of the contractor to not have a negative public record.
