Korean Martial Arts Institute

Review: I would not recommend Korean Martial Arts Institute for any parents wanted to see if their young child would like to learn karate. My son, who was five at the time he started, completely lost interest in going after three months of lessons. The contract that they make you sign is a yearly contract with $100 being withdrawn from your bank account or credit card per month.

I called to try and cancel my son's membership and was told that I have to email master [redacted] and he has to approve of the cancellation. I looked on their website and found no email address for him, so I called them back to ask for it. That was about three weeks ago and I still have not received a call back with his email address. Apparently they want to charge me $1000 for services that are not being used. Horrible business practices, and would not recommend this place to anyone for that reason.Desired Settlement: I would like for the contract to be cancelled and for them to stop charging me $100 a month for services that are not used. I would also like a refund from the months that I have been charged and the services were not being used.
