Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. When the noises appeared on July 2013, Kone inspected the elevator and had the motor rebuilt for $ 1,with a one-year warrantyThis is NOT part of my complaint and I have offered to pay for this invoice. One week after installing this rebuilt motor the noises continued. Kone was called to determine what was still causing these same noisesKone first believed the noises were now coming from the discontinued gear box and offered to replace the house elevator for $19K (proof they new about the recurring noises), after further inspection (my insistence), Kone discarded the need for a new gear box (and elevator) Afterwards Kone recommended replacing an electrical breaker. I had that breaker replaced by a third party (Kone would not perform that job)…the noises continued. Kone was called and in some of the visits insisted they did not hear the noises (minute visits). In one other visit Kone recommend replacing the gasket (found an oil leak) I then had the gasket replaced by a third partyI have repeatedly insisted Kone in person and in writing that Invoice No*** in the amount of $414.32, Invoice No*** in the amount of $296.02, andInvoice No. *** in the amount of $are not valid These invoices were inspections to help determine the noises after the rebuilt motor was installed, besides all these visits were under the one-year warrantyKone did offer a 25% discount on these invoices, which I rejected in person and in writing claiming that theseinvoices should be discarded.Kone response: “The best I will do is $1,890.00…please send a check by this Friday. I will not go below this amount. If the $1,is not received I will go after the full amount.” Afterwards the collection department from Kone threatened that if I did not pay my invoices “will be turned over to collections” I have all the emails with Kone to back my allegations. This is my reason for my complaint to the Revdex.com
Regards,

We are in receipt of your letter dated December 03, 2014, which we received on December 5, 2014. We have reviewed the complaint and wholly dispute Mr. [redacted] allegations. KONE and Mr. [redacted] have an Exam and Lube contract effective May 1, 2013 (“Contract”). Mr. [redacted]...
unit was inspected in March of 2013 and it was determined that the unit was operating as it should. The Contract does not cover callouts (service calls), requires payment yearly in advance, and only requires 2 visits per year. This unit has been inspected by mechanics, sales personnel, and the branch manager and it has been determined that there are no noises coming from the elevator. While we have offered to discount certain invoices, which Mr. [redacted] agreed and promised payment, KONE never received any payment from Mr. [redacted]. His complaint to the Revdex.com is simply an attempt to not pay for services properly performed and rendered by KONE. Invoice No. [redacted] in the amount of $414.32, Invoice No. [redacted] in the amount of $1,315.12, Invoice No. [redacted] in the amount of $953.69 with a balance remaining of $227.29, Invoice No. [redacted] in the amount of $296.02, and Invoice No. [redacted] in the amount of $379.58 are valid and payment is due and owing to KONE. Accordingly, KONE respectfully and wholly denies Mr. [redacted] complaint.
