Review: Eddie K[redacted] drove down my driveway. I WAS EXPECTING NO ONE. He jumped out of a nice truck - said "I'm working in your area and see your driveway NEEDS sealing. Since I'm already here, I can give you a good price." $950 he offered.

That sounded HIGH to me BUT I'm a retired math professor and don't know much about labor. I said "O.K." He said he'd be back in a day with his assistant and do the job. He came back with a small man who he said was named DICK H[redacted] !

Since I taught for 45 years - I knew that joke - BUT he insisted "No his name is truly Dick H[redacted]" Eddie said he was going for some cold water and an energy drink for "Dick" Dick asked me "What price did he quote you ?" This was beginning to

seem fishy to me; Why would the assistant not know the price ? I said "$950" He immediately responded "Oh you're getting the single coat." RING - RING - RING went a bell in my head. I'M ABOUT TO BE SCAMMED . . . Dick suggested I get a

double coat - wouldn't cost double - only $1500 ! I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM $10 EACH FOR BREAKFAST AND ASK THEM TO LEAVE. It took a few more minutes for Eddie to return . . . He asked if I wanted to stay with the single OR had I decided

to get the superior double coat. IT WAS NOW OBVIOUS THAT THEY WERE SCAMMERS OF OLD PEOPLE. RATHER THAN CHASE THEM OFF TO CHEAT OTHERS, I DECIDED TO LET THEM PLAY THEIR GAME - THEN GO AFTER THEM WITH ALL

I HAD! I asked if they were filling the cracks . . . OH NO. We are sealing only. For $1500. I GUESSED THE JOB WOULD TAKE 2 DAYS, MAYBE 3. NO said Eddie - it will be done in ONE HOUR . . . OHMYGOD, He was going to charge me $1,000 per

hour for his labor and $500 for the sealant, the truck and the compressor. He said he was using the finest spray made. IT LOOKEED GOOD WHEN APPLIED - A DAY LATER IT WAS RUNNING AND I SAID "IT LOOKS LIKE OLD MOTOR OIL." The driveway now looks much as it did before his job. THEY ARE THIEVES SCAMMING OLD PEOPLE. I'M 76. I AM NOT CONCERNED WITH MYSELF. I'D DONATE THE $1,000 TO THE Revdex.com IF IT PUTS THESE TWO OUT OF BUSINESS !Desired Settlement: DRIVE THESE PEOPLE OUT OF BUSINESS FOREVER.
