Review: 8/**: I ordered a Canon DSLR 5D mark III for $2000 through broker [redacted].
8/**: I received the item and sent an email to K&M to return.
8/**: I didn't get a response so I contacted [redacted].
8/**: I called K&M to start return. When I received the R&M, it says the item has to be in the original manufacturer's seal. I emailed and asked what if the box came OPEN. (I didn't say it was OPENED). The email response from K&M said I would be charged for restocking. Then I was confused. Does that mean I got an open-box item because it came in a box without seals? It is not right if I received in a open box then returned in the original state and get charged for restocking fee.Then I contacted [redacted] came back saying this was from a split kit after they talked to R&M. So I sent an email to K&M saying it was split from a kit.
8/**: Over the phone, they first didn't mention restocking fee. On the RMA email, they said if the item is opened, they would charged up to 10% restocking fee.
8/**: [redacted] clarified it was not from a kit.
8/**: After I called back, they promised if I received the camera in a open box and returned it with all the parts sealed, I would get a full refund. I sent pictures to confirm and they confirmed it.
8/**: I sent the camera back, paying the shipping cost myself.
9/*: I called after the camera was delivered. They said they would charge me the original shipping fee and refund $1980. The person was very rude and I didn't want to continue talking.
9/1*: I received the refund today, I was refunded $1800, $200 less than my original payment.Desired Settlement: It is not right for K&M blaming me on opening the box and charge me restocking fee. I sent the camera back in the state I received: box without a seal, all parts sealed. I demand a full refund as they promised.
Review: I dropped 8 pieces of Fuji Provia large format films to be developed this place. It is obvious for a professional nevertheless I reminded them to develop them with a E6 process. They mishandled my films with a wrong chemical process which means they destroyed them. There is no chemical way back to restore. The damage that they caused is irreversible.Desired Settlement: I want the estimate and compensation of my losses and expenses.
