KLS Crete

We hired them fall of 2017 to replace driveway, sidewalk and install new sidewalk from driveway to rear patio.. Less than 5 moths later 2 driveway slabs cracked and the new sidewalk cracked. Their solution was to caulk cracks and nothing else. It looks terrible resembling a jigsaw puzzle. After repeated emails and phone calls to express our dis-satisfaction, we were told that it was probably do to "street creep"and nothing further would be done.

We fully understand that the nature of concrete is to crack, but not as quickly as 5 months. After watching the installation I expressed my concern that only 1/2 of the driveway had reinforcing steel. I was told that it had something to do with the utility easement and that the utilities frowned on it being that close to the street. We had our front porch and attached sidewalk replaced 4 years ago without a hint of a crack to date.

Bottom line is we are extremely disappointed and frustrated. We would not recommend anyone to use KLS Crete.

We hired KLS Concrete to build a walkway and a pad for our utility shed. The walkway was suppose to be 36" wide and ended up 39" wide. We were told that they would put plywood down in the yard so the track vehicle would not mess up the yard. They did not do that and our yard is torn up. The most important part of the job was the pad for our new cedar wood utility shed. We were very specific on the measurements which were 80" long and 42" wide, and level. The pad is 80" long and 40" wide on one side and 41" wide on the other side. The most damaging part is that it is 2 1/2" lower on the left side then the right side so it is uneven. We cannot shim the floor of the shed that much!!!
They were suppose to clean up the gravel but threw it along the walkway and covered it up with excess dirt and is now visible as the dirt settled. They were suppose to drill a hole in the pad in front of the gate for the gate pin but never did that nor have they contacted me to set a time to come out to do that. The supervisor *** sent a text saying he would come to our home when they did the clean-up July 5th but never came by, called, texted, or anything. We are very upset and not sure what we can do at this point.
