Worst decision I made as a new homeowner. They screwed up EVERY single thing they did.
From the sales guy screwing me over by not telling me that I could get a tax credit if the vented skylights I was replacing were solar-powered (he didn't even MENTION that was an option...and I am a disabled middle-aged woman) to the roofers damaging my year-old, beautiful patio in front of my home (chunks taken out of the concrete by utter carelessness) to the gutters in back being hung so they leaked from the wrong end...it was never-ending.
When I found out I could get remote-controlled room-darkening shades, I asked "Salesguy of the Year" why he didn't tell me I could get them. He actually said (after many unanswered emails) "Most of my customers make their own." Wha??? Yes, he did know that my skylights are 15+ feet from the kitchen and dining room floor. And I'm disabled. (And he still didn't tell me about the solar powered vented skylights). It took THREE MONTHS for them to get them from *** or so they claimed. They are not custom. I had zero communication initiated from them during that time--I had to initiate every call for an update. They gave me an excuse that the pandemic made for the slowdown but I have since learned from people who install them that they were shipping the entire spring. I also cry every time I manually open my vented skylights and then can't move without pain for hours.
I baked under the hot sun through the shadeless skylights for months, and when they finally, finally got here to put the shades in...the guy brought in manual shades. I clearly ordered motorized ones. He had a motorized set in his truck, so again started the install. And...drumroll please, they were the wrong size!! I about lost my mind. Klaus Larsen LLC literally screwed up every single aspect of their work for me. The guy left with promises someone would get right back to me. Again, I had no communication from them. Finally, after unanswered messages, I called the office's general number, complained to the woman answering the phones, and she got me on with the guy overseeing the project. I told him I no longer even wanted them in my home. He said, "But we have the right size ones now!" Um, 3+ months and a failed install later? NO thank you.
I found a skilled person who put them in in 20 minutes and for HALF the price Klaus Larsen LLC quoted me. I wish I'd cut ties with them in May.
The real kicker here? Each screw up, the sales guy (who'd sold me with "My roof is your roof!") gave the excuse, "Oh, the crew must've had a bad day." Seriously. For each screwup. Do people have bad days? Yes. But do people act like adults and take responsibility? They do if they're grown-ups.
I realize that as a customer, I could have looked up the skylights on my own. But why would I? I trusted the sales person to give me all the options. I told him this was all new to me. I had so much on my mind with the sale of the house, moving, helping my family in this pandemic, I just allowed myself to put total trust in a person I thought would surely tell me all I needed to know. I mean, what salesperson worth their commission check doesn't?
While the gutters were fixed, I am still waiting for Klaus Larsen LLC to "make it right" with regard to my beautiful patio. Turns out, the crews at Klaus Larsen LLC are pretty much subcontractors who have to carry their own insurance. So they told the guy to get on it with his insurance, then washed their hands of it. I will probably end up paying for the patio myself, which is so unfair it makes me sick.
STAY AWAY from Klaus Larsen LLC. Can anyone get a bad experience? Sure. But this was $$$$$$ and a huge, constant, deep disappointment. And it's not over yet. I feel like I will never be free of this terrible company, and I wish we'd never crossed paths with them. Consider going with local people who care about their name in town. This was a clown show.

Excellent crew worked until dark and did a splendid job from start to finish!

Great work overall but had a few issues:
1) installer fell through ceiling, requiring ceiling sheet rock to be replaced. Took a couple of weeks for them to do it and never told us it would take the guy 3 days to complete. We had to take 3 days off work (loss of income; no work, no pay) which went uncompensated.
2) Informed Jeremy skylight was a special size no longer made. Told me not to worry about it after coming back to re-measure.
On roofing day, sure enough, skylight didn’t fit and a custom one had to be ordered, requiring another unpaid day off to allow for installation.
3) to hide the imperfections from the skylight installation, they put in several border boards that don’t match color scheme but are also unevenly installed, requiring me to have to fix it.
Other than this, the job was done right aside from a few left over nails.
Fabio and the installation team were very efficient and did good work.

Outstanding company

When I discovered my roof was leaking I didn't know a lot about roofing. This is a high ticket purchase for any homeowner. Klaus L was the 3rd call I made. I wish I started with them first. I would have saved time. The entire staff and work crews were awesome. All done in a day. The price was affordable. The quality superior. The customer service outstanding! I am very impressed with the professional organization of this company from start to finish.

COULDN'T HAVE HAD A BETTER EXPERIENCE WITH THE KLAUS LARSEN COMPANY AND ALL THE PEOPLE I HAD CONTACT WITH, THE COULD'NT HAVE BEEN NICER TO WORK WITH AND THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS SUPERIOR

From start to finish this was a great experience. They did Excellent work and everyone was always professional. This was a full roofing replacement and chimney flashing. This is a very trustworthy company.

I highly recommend this company and would use them again in the future.
