This letter is in response to the complaint that we received from 7/8/2017. During that weekend, we held our annual yard sale fundraiser. We had for a sale a power wheels car priced at $75.00. After the first day, we discovered that the battery was not holding a very long charge, we searched online...

and found that batteries could be purchased for between $20-$23. The customer was informed that they may need to purchase a new battery, what the price was online and that we would drop the sale price to $50.00.The customer contacted myself the week following the yard sale and told me that the car battery did not work. I reminded her that the price was dropped to compensate for the need for a replacement battery. The customer informed me that she could not afford a battery.The customer was informed of the possibility of the battery needing replaced before purchasing the car and the price was lowered. Sincerely,  Rhonda E[redacted] Executive Director
