Kitchensinkcreations Reviews (1)

Review: RE: [redacted]If you went to a tire store, asked for new tires, came back to pick up your car and the same old tires were still on the car but the tire company refused to give your money back, that tire company stole your money and that would be a crime. This is no different. A crime has been committed.I need your assistance in this matter. I contracted and paid a $600 deposit of a $1200 total fee to [redacted] of Kitchensink Creations through my [redacted] account on 8/**/13 to create an internet website and create a logo. [redacted] was advertised as a [redacted] website developer on the [redacted] website. [redacted] did not produce a logo or create a website. What he did do was keep the funds that were a deposit for the project and has refused to return the deposit money. This is Non delivery of goods on [redacted] part, and I was misled by him saying verbally, and it was also stated on his website, he would do anything to make sure that I am satisfied. I do have all of the supporting documentation that was emailed between [redacted] and myself. . Online deception and monies not being refunded appears to be an invisible crime. Please Help!!!Desired Settlement: a full refund of $600

Response:

First of all, I am sorry fro the late response. My tardiness n the matter does not reflect my lack of respect or the gravity of this complaint, rather I never received notice in the mail.

I deal with a lot of WIX clients and take my reputation very seriously. With that said, with a large volume of people comes a greater probability of clients who don’t see eye to eye—or in this case, seem to not understand or respect designers’ time and effort.

[redacted] contracted my services to create her a website around August of last year. My arrangement with her was that she would pay for half for me to begin and the other half when finished and COMPLETELY SATISFIED. This arrangement has ensured to a very great record of customer satisfaction in the past.

After spending many hours of not only constructing the website, but also addressing an unusually high anxiety level and and questioning from [redacted]. I will not go into matters of character any farther than to say tht even in the beginning [redacted] was strangely hostile towards my questions about here color and fonts preferences. She intimated to me that she did not expect so much communication and took that as some sort of lack of professionalism. When in reality, that type of communication is not only industry standard but helps create a more satisfactory site.

After a series of volatile phone calls and emails, [redacted] demanded her money back. I responded by saying I would not refund her but I would be more than willing to try to work out our differences and complete the rest of the site with her (at this point I was probably around 3/4 of the way done). Instead of respondind she went straight to [redacted] to try to retrieve her money back, a request that was elevated to their dispute center and was ultimately ruled in my favor. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide you with or any professional references I can give.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

I reject almost everything that [redacted] of Kitchensink creation says. There were no volatile conversations between myself and [redacted]. There were very, very few telephone conversations between us. Most of them were through email conversations!! This company has no business or customer service morals. I know that

[redacted] did not complete the amount of work on the website that he is stating.....I asked him what was the status of the project and he never, never, I repeat never stated to me that he was almost done or had completed 3/* of it or anything else. He has lied throughout this entire event. He is nothing more than a common online fraud and a thief. He thinks that because he is hundreds of miles away and in another state that he can get away with this thievery. He never presented any works to me that were of any acceptable content. We never discussed trying to work things out after I asked for a full refund! I am positive that you will hear many more complaints from others in the future regarding the business practices of this company. Please stop them now. This company should not be are allowed to continue with these poor business practices.
