We discovered his [somewhatpuzzling to us] dissatisfaction via a filing he made with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General —Bureau of Consumer Protection just after we sent our final invoice for the project per our customer signedContract Agreement.Prior to that, customer would not return our sub-contractor’s calls for allowing The Kitchen Village, Inc.to complete his project, which entailed installing one final piece of cabinetry molding.Given client’s refusal for resolving this matter fairly The Kitchen Village, Inc., as of receipt of your letter,has solicited an attorney. We intend to collect our full final payment due, damages for libel and slander,and all of our related expenses we incur in contesting subject matter.We will not admit to any wrongdoing by The Kitchen Village, Inc. when there has been none. We arenot now going to sit by idly while this customer wrongfully disparages The Kitchen Village, Inc. vianumerous communication vehicles including directly to those with full public access.Sincerely[redacted]

Review: This company remodeled my kitchen but left the project without finishing the job or final inspection and left with various defects in workmanship. Also this company was not registered with the state as required under the Home Improvement Consumers Protect Act, thus the contract was not legal and valid. Damages are yet to be determined but range between $2000 - $4000 I believe.Desired Settlement: I would like the money refunded to fix the defects and also finish the job to a completed condition also turn over all warranty information on window and flooring and any other purchase information necessary for future repairs that is not already provided.
