Review: I purchased kitchen cabinets from this company in September for my apartment located at [redacted] in Manhattan. The cabinets were installed by ZAR Group in late October/early November but were not used until I move back to the apartment on December [redacted]. At the time of the final walk through which occurred on 12/**, the following was noticed:Several cracks in frame, shelves and backImperfections in the paint (in 80% of doors)Scratches and nicks throughoutSeparations in molding due to an error on length of measurementUndersides unfinished with electricity exposed due to an absence of panels underneathPlease note that if you recall, this kitchen measures approximately 8 x 10. For such a limited amount of cabinets, the price I paid was exorbitant, especially relevant to the substandard quality of the cabinets received. There is not one person who has looked at these that is not shocked to see the poor quality of the craftsmanship. The same cabinets online are offered for $2400. Price gauging, poor service and extremely poor quality.This [redacted] has lied repeatedly and delivered very substandard product. Horrible service and very reluctant to provide recourse. also, have cracked marble saddle in bathroom, discolored custom cabinetry in living room - all from this [redacted]Desired Settlement: Based on the exhorbitant cost and poor quality of the product, I would like financial compensation beyond the balance owed of $2300. I request that he be investigated. I have a record of all vsits, conversations, etc.
