Review: He was contracted to remodel our bathroom. He had 8 days while I was on vacation to complete it and it took him 13 days. And would not have been completed in that time but was because I had no where else to live with my 2 1/2yr old while he worked. I'm pretty sure that's why it was done inappropriately. He never measured where the false wall needed to be and its too long and runs right along side of the toilet. When questioned about it he sd it would be ok then he put the toilet in and sd yea its close and wasn't planning on fixing it. The grout has pockets all over and the window was done the wrong way and when asked to fix it he said that he wasn't going to fix it and that he took offense to my stepdad questioning him. There is grout and plaster all over the place and it was left very messy. The walls were floated unevenly and the holes that were patched are caving in. The grout is missing between the wall and the sink and there is a gap between the tile and the ceiling. The ceiling has a line from where the cabinets were removed and it wasn't patched. The tub faucet is loose. He didn't have any receipts for what he bought and we gave him $[redacted] for supplies. No estimate with a cost nor did we get a paid receipt for the $[redacted] we paid him.Desired Settlement: We would like the money back that we paid him ($[redacted]). At least the $[redacted] for the work since is was not completed satisfactorily.
