Review: I only went to this station for a vehicle inspection. After I waited appx. 1/2 hour while my vehicle was being inspected, the [redacted] refused to issue my vehicle inspection unless I paid him to fill up "engine fluid" which "should be flushed each year", while pointing to my 3/4 empty wiper fluid. When I told him I didn't think it was necessary he then insisted that it was necessary to have 2 filters replaced in order to get the inspection completed. He refused to issue the inspection report unless I paid $50 for 2 new filters. Given no choice, I told him to do only what he needed to do in order to give me my inspection and take my car. He charged me $79.18, per the attached receipt.

I called DMV and was told that new filters are not required to pass inspection. I called the [redacted] back and gave him an opportunity to credit me the money. He refused. He refused to tell me why he insisted on the filters being replaced when it was not necessary. He didn't deny it either.Desired Settlement: I wold like a refund of the $50 I paid for the 2 filters. In addition, customers should know that they are being ripped of by this business owner.
