Medicare recently required us to add physician statements on our plan of care. Kinnser states how they are updated with all new policies and implement them into their software yet did not do this. We lost 7 thousand dollars because of this one mistake. When we called to ask why they said, o well you can type it in if youd like. Yet other software companies implemented it into their software without having to be asked. Also one of our oasis reverted back to ICD 9 that hasn't been used in a year. When I called and asked no solution was offered other that, you have to create a new one and copy and paste. And were told that if someone else is working on it, or if I switched insurances, or have several windows opened the software doesn't allow this which is a ridiculous excuse and its never happened before today. When I asked for a supervisor she asked me well whats the problem, I just told you, and that a supervisor wasn't available. I demanded to be transferred to a supervisor or their voicemail and have been holding for about 20 minutes. Going to look elsewhere, there are cheaper softwares that are up to date with medicare policies and not such long wait times. Very unhappy and now my nurse has to spend another 2 hours retyping all her work
