Security deposit not returned I stayed at this motel on August 31, The room rate was $plus $security depositI was told that the deposit would be returned after days if we did not trash the room When the credit did not post days later I called my bank and they said it could take days to post On October I called my bank to complain and they said that I could not post a dispute without an itemized receiptI then called the motel and they refused to cooperate and told me to call back later It should be noted that I had to fix a loose lamp socket, a door knob that was falling off the bathroom door, and a loose shower curtain rod during my stayThey should have paid me the deposit instead of taking it since I had to perform building engineering duties while staying at the motel!
