[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: While it's true I signed the form, I specifically asked if it would be a hard inquiry So they cannot tell me it will not be a hard inquiry (which is what I was told when specifically asked), and then now send a response saying that they believe most inquiries of this type would be a hard check - they should have told me this and I would never have signed the form Lying to obtain my consent does not alleviate their responsibility to make sure that their sales people are aware of how credit checks will affect someone's credit, or they should simply decline to make any such statements (i.ethey should say they are not sure if they are not sure instead of assuring me that it would be a soft check when clearly based on their response to my complaint, they are aware that it most likely would not be) Regards, [redacted]
