Owner failed to provide full refund as promised when rings were returned
On 2/15/I bought rings from *** JewelersI paid $for an engagement ring and $for a wedding ringI traded in a carat loose diamond for which I received $trade in allowanceTotal amount charged to my credit card was $The rings were sized up 1/size from 1/to 3/
On 2/16/I picked up the rings and I discovered that the prongs on both rings were "picking" and pulling threads on clothingThe engagement ring had more than small diamonds and you could not brush it against any clothing without it pulling threads out
On 2/17/I called salesperson *** *** who handled the sale, to let her know we would be returning the ringsShe said the store would do whatever they needed to do to remedy the issue for usShe wanted us to choose other merchandise as substitutes, so I said I would come in and lookI specifically asked if a refund credit could be made if we did not
