Review: An [redacted] network orthopedist prescribed a foam wedge insert to aid in the healing of a partially torn Achilles Tendon. The doctor supplied the wedge in this office and asked me to sign a form to request payment from the health insurance company. Three and one half weeks later, the wedge had lost its form and was like a paste layer on the heel of the therapeutic boot. Then came the bill for $25. Orthopedic products of much better quality and durability are available at most department stores for under $10. I have a better than average health insurance policy. Both the [redacted] doctor and Kinetic Health Services must know that insurance is not likely to cover the cost of this product, but they pretend for the minimal probability of payment and then are ready to follow up with a letter and bill.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate if Revdex.com can hold on to this comment, and let others know that companies such as Kinetic Health Services are contributing to the downfall of our healthcare system by exploiting vulnerable people, providing low quality products at premium prices.
