We were very disappointed to hear of such an experience at our restaurant. It is not the way we typically conduct business, and is not the experience we want our customers to have. The situation has been investigated since the incident and it is being taken very seriously. It was
found that the employee who took the reservation took down all the necessary information, but mistakenly wrote the contact phone number down incorrectly. However, the restaurant still had knowledge of the reservation, on the correct date, with the correct number of guests. This confirmation process is used to prepare for parties and specific numbers of guests, not to exclude anyone that we are unable to reach. In no way is it acceptable for anyone to have been treated that way at our restaurant, if they had a reservation or not, which this party most clearly did. For that, we greatly apologize. We have had issues in the past with that particular employee and after this incident she is no longer with us. She is a good individual, but has had trouble representing the company culture and the atmosphere we want to provide We have also had a discussion with the rest of the staff regarding the reservation process and the importance of customer service and what it means to Kim Anh Restaurant.We are always happy to have all guests, as they are the lifeblood and most enjoyable part of having our business. Without them we would not be here. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to rectify the situation.
