Review: A friend gave us a $60.00 Kiko House gift certificate (No. [redacted]) purchased on Jan.**, 2015, as a belated Christmas gift. ( We were visiting my mother over the Christmas holidays since we live in Canada)Because we were returning home on Jan.2, 2015, my friend asked at the time of purchase if there was any expiration date on the certificate and was told there was none. Yesterday, Feb. **, 2015, I phoned Kiko House to make a reservation for Tuesday, March *, and when Iadvised them that I intended to use the certificate, they claimed that the restaurant was under new management and they refused to honor it.Desired Settlement: I don't know if the claim of new management is fraudulent or not,but regardless, the services were paid for in good faith,and I would like to have the $60.00 refunded to me or my friend, since it is a financial obligation assumed when they took over the prior management. The certificate would have not been purchased if it was known that the certificate would be valid for a limited amount of time.
