I spoke with [redacted] regarding his complaint sent to the Revdex.com. I told [redacted] that I would release his childs xrays but there is a balance on this account of $221.80. I asked how he intended to clear this...

balance. [redacted] informed me that he spoke with several attorneys and he feels that since this balance is a year old he should not be responsible for these charges. [redacted] also stated that we were not able to give him a sufficent reason as to why the balance is due. I explained that we sent several bills since April of 2013, and that on 1/**/14 his wife called regarding the balance and would be calling back with payment after she spoke with the insurance company. I explained to [redacted] that the balance is from a waiting period that his insurance had instated on his poilcy. I also explained to [redacted] that he did in fact sign our financial policy that states he would be responsible for all charges that is not covered by his insurance company. I ask hi m if he would like a copy of this financial policy for for his records , he stated that he already had it in his possesion. I told [redacted] that I could work out a payment arrangement to clear up this balance but if not paid in 30 days it would be subjected to collections by our accountant. I told [redacted] that I would document our conversation to which [redacted] then stated to me that he would need to speak with a few people and get back to me , he also stated that our conversation was being recorded. I took his email address and will send out his childs records today 2/*/2014.

Review: requested a form for transfer of records was attempted on several instances:

1. 1/**/14 @ 9:30am - spoke with [redacted] - said she would email request to transfer records form, did not happen.

2. 1/**/14 @ 2:30pm - left voicemail with reception, no return call

3. 1/**/14 @ 12:11pm - spoke with [redacted] (or [redacted]), gave her my email address and she said she would email form; never happened.

4. 1/**/14 @ 2:03pm - spoke with [redacted] - said to hold for [redacted], said they would not release records due to unpaid balance - this is a violation of the NY dental examinars board.

5. 1/**/14 @ 5:46pm - attempted to leave voicemail, system is full and cannot leave messagesDesired Settlement: release records by 1/**/14 before legal action is taken.
