Kidd Epps Art Shop

In December 2019 my husband and I hired Kidd Epps Artshop to make a shower enclosure for my husband's bathroom. We gave him a deposit of $3000 which was 50% of the project. He said he needed this deposit in order to buy supplies for the job. A couple months passed *** and we didn't hear anything from him, so we contacted him to find out that he had not started the job yet. He apologized, gave excuses and offered to give us a refund of our $3000 deposit which we told him by email that we wanted to do. The email offering to give us a refund was on February 19, 2020. After telling him that we wanted our deposit refunded, it was complete silence. We tried many times to contact him without success. No replies from emails. His supposed manager, ***, direct messaged me on *** stating that they wanted to make it right and asked what they needed to do to make it right. I said it was simple, that he just needed to refund our $3000 deposit. Again, No reply after that and no refund of our $3000 deposit.
