Aloha,We received your letter regarding a complaint concerning Refund of Exchange Issues from [redacted].  In response to your letter, we are writing to explain the situation from our point of view. The confusion stems from the trim level of the 2007 Honda...

Civic in question.  It was advertised and sold as a DX as our paperwork and records indicate.  However, when questioned why the price of the car was higher than the [redacted] for a similar vehicle with a DX trim level, we explained that there are upgrades to the vehicle that were not standard with a DX. We never indicated it was an LX model - our advertising and purchase agreement clearly indicate it is a DX. However, the upgraded features included power windows, power locks, and a DVD player so we felt it appropriate to ask for more. The customer was satisfied and we negotiated a price that was approximately 700 dollars lower than what we were originally asking.A few days later, the customer began to text our salesperson with same complaint you received.  He began to make threats towards us of which we have the text messages. We do not feel the need to entertain an issue when a physical threat is made against us.  We welcomed him to stop by the store and discuss this issue in a rational manner. The customer arrived a few days later only to continue with his threats which prompted us to call 911 for police assistance and intervention.  At that point, we have not revisited the complaint or have spoken with the customer.I can be reached at [redacted] if you have any further questions and inquiries.
