Review: In February 24th, 2015 I began treatment with Physiotherapy Corp in Allison Park, PA, at the request of my doctor for a sore back. I knew there would be a fee for the visits. Prior to receiving any treatment I wanted to make sure that the visits would be covered by my hospitalization and wanted to know the out-of-pocket expenses associated with my visits, as I did not want to get in too over my head with the cost as I had never been to their facility before, nor had I ever received physical therapy in the past.I gave my Hospitalization card to Paul, the young man who does all of the initial paperwork and screening. After processing my health care information, he gave me my information back and informed me that my visits would cost me $27 per visit out of pocket. I asked him again to please be sure of that, and he assured me the out of pocket costs would be $27 per visit. I agreed with that and began my care there.I stopped my care after 5 visits over 2 weeks, as I was told by Brett, the physical therapist, that if after 2 weeks if I was not seeing results that I may want to consider alternative treatment. I did not see a big difference with my condition (better nor worse), so I stopped scheduling appointments. On May 20th I receive a bill from the Physiotherapy Corporation for the total of $586.00. On the bill were kinds of additional charges and fees THAT WERE NEVER DISCLOSED TO ME even though I specifically asked what their fees were. I called their customer service number that was on the bill (###-###-####) and explained the entire situation, and was instructed to contact the facility where I received treatment. So I called the Allison Park location, where Paul, when confronted about the fees for my treatment, instructed me to call customer service. I told him I had just got off the phone with them and was instructed to contact them. He then paused, stuttered, and told me hed have to talk to his supervisor and call me back as soon as possible. He has yet to call me back.Desired Settlement: I have no issues paying the $27 per visit I was originally quoted. I have already paid them $72.50 out of pocket. Therefore I figure that my final balance should be a payment of $62.50.They have also already received over $1700.00 from my health care provider for just 5 visits.
