This is in response to the complaint filed on 8/18/17  about a property that we manage. This home is a very nice historical home that we have managed as a vacation rental for the past year.  Guests love this property and have enjoyed many memorable vacations in this home. Which is to be...

expected, at times there are maintenance issues with homes. During this guest's two week stay, there were a couple of issues that did arise, which is unfortunate but unavoidable. Two days before the guest's departure the ejector pump broke and had to be replaced. We responded quickly to this situation and scheduled the repair right away. The plumber who diagnosed and repaired the plumbing issue submitted a written statement to us that at no given time was there a health or safety concern for our guests or was there human waste present in the bathroom.  He stated it was merely an inconvenience that the bathroom wasn't able to be used for 36 hours due to the time it took to complete the repair.  There was another full bathroom that the guests were able to use for the duration of their stay.  Windows were not broken as stated and like most historical homes in Colorado, this home doesn't have AC, which is clearly stated in the listing. We do provide a fan for each bedroom and there is a ceiling fan in the living room. These minor issues have been blown out of proportion and this home is in no shape or form uninhabitable.  It is a fine home and vacation rental and future guests will continue to enjoy this home.
