Keeping my deposit and charging me $*** for Paint
Key Property Management is trying to not give back my deposit by charging me $*** in paint. First off, I shouldn't have to paint their walls when I was told that I could put up pictures with small nails. Secondly, I was only there for a year so any painting that needs to be done is due to normal wear and tear. I will also note that this property management did not paint the walls before I came in as was evident by picture anchor holes that were still there from the previous client. I left this house in better condition than when I entered save for one flaw that I caused. This was a scratch on the floor in the main room. Besides that I kept the downstairs clean, the carpeting upstairs was cleaner than before. I recently visited the new tenants and they attested to the fact that this property management did not paint the walls for them either.
