Review: Hello,

I contacted [redacted] of Kevin's Bartending Service several times, after some concerns were raised by a friend that also hired them for her wedding. I contacted KBS last year to bartend a wedding event that will be in September of 2014. I paid in full at the time; a total of $150 dollars. I have not heard from KBS or [redacted] since July 11, 2013 (almost a full year ago). I am getting married in county park, and in order to operate in the park KBS must have a valid license and insurance with the county. I found out last week that KBS no longer has insurance with the county, and I have been able to contact him with in the last couple weeks. I have called KBS numerous times, both numbers provided go to a recording. I have emailed [redacted] personally, as well as his KBS business several times on facebook, twitter, even on yelp, and I have not heard back from [redacted], or any member of his company.

Since [redacted] and KBS no longer have insurance with the county of Orange, they can not fulfill the obligations of our contract, and I would like a full refund of the $150 I have already paid him in full. I think there is a disregard for his customers, and fulfillment of his commitments.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the $150 paid to [redacted] back in June of 2013.

Review: On 1/27/14, [redacted]'s Law paid in full for services to be rendered by [redacted], CEO of [redacted] Bartending Services on 2/19 6pm at [redacted] On 2/11, [redacted]'s Law reminded [redacted] (CEO) of the class and even stated that more students would be in attendance. [redacted] confirmed receipt of email. On 2/19/14, [redacted] did not show up for our training. We left several voicemails, sent several emails, sent text messages and posted messages on Facebook to try and reach him on 2/19/14. On 2/20, we left another voicemail on [redacted] cell phone and as of 12pm PST we still have not heard from Kevin. Not only is [redacted]'s Law looking for a full refund of the $800.00 but also the credit card transaction fee and we need to recoup labor costs for 30 students that waited for 30 minutes for him 2/19/14 6:00pm-6:30pm.Desired Settlement: Not only is [redacted]'s Law looking for a full refund of the $800.00 but also the credit card transaction fee and we need to recoup labor costs for 30 students that waited for 30 minutes for him 2/19/14 6:00pm-6:30pm (approximately $120 plus payroll taxes).

The complaint is valid, however I [redacted] am rescheduling the training class and offering a 50% discount for our mistake. I really don't want to go to much into why RBSA training didn't happen, but I personally had a family crisis out of the country a couple days before the training and was rushed into a foreign country that had no internet nor phone to access. My father had passed away suddenly and as the head of my family, I had to assume responsibility for my family. This is the first and last time we will miss a training. It is NOT in our company's best interest to miss ANY training and this wasn't on purpose. I was dealing with a lot and thought I had passed off duties to managers... I didn't. I assume FULL responsibility and am making it up to the client.
