Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Nothing was trying to be resolved on your end I paid for new belts hoes and fluids wether you think I could use them or not I paid for them so there for they should have been installed the reason I was there in the first place was because there was no coolant in the vehicle Kevin knew that and when I came to pick my vehicle back up and there was no coolant in there damage could have already been done when they were test driving it thus putting me in the same situation that I was in the first placeBefore I came to your shop I did not have these issues I'm having nowAnd after my vehicle left your shop all these new issues kept popping up and they weren't issues of old age they were issues of your people not installing the parts the right way or not using quality partsI have never had so many issues with new parts that were being put into my vehicle until now with your shopI don't feel that your technicians are qualified to do the work that you say they canI went to your shop because I trusted you and I feel you took advantage of me I spoke to several other customers that have went to your shop and they also have had similar issuesAll I want is for the work that you said you did correctly to be checked over by certified technicians and that no extra damage was cuased by you while it was at your shopAnd if your so confident on your work and your business I feel that you would be trying to do whatever you can to make your customers feel more comfortable with your work cause let's be honest Kevin you did some really shady things when you had my vehicle every or times it was in therePlease do not take any affence to this because that is not what this isAll I am out for is for the issues that were not there to be corrected by someone I trustThank you Sincerely, [redacted]

When *** first visited our company he stated he was shopping for a repair shop that he could trust to replace his engine in his FORD FHe bought a used vehicle knowingly that it had a head gasket leak and needed extensive repairsHe agreed to do the repairs he requested with usThe
amount of work needed on his truck took a month to finishAll issues that delayed the completion were the following.Engine from vendor sent wrong engineLift Kit from vendor was missing partsCustomer’s truck due to its age had excessive rust on all suspension partsIntake manifold had to be replaced due to damage from customer’s previous repairsPreexisting engine performance issues not disclosed by customerDuring this time the customer was unwilling to understand the issues which none of was in our company's control. When the customer picked up his vehicle we inspected the vehicle with himFirst, all fluids were topped of for his engineHis claim that there was no coolant in his engine was falseHis radiator was in need of more antifreezeLess than half a gallon.The customer did not need new hoses for his engineThis would have been a waste of moneyWe told the customer to make him happy we would replace them.Customer was aware of the damage on the radiator which was very minorIt can happen upon installation and did not warrant replacement.Customer claims that his clutch was not engagingFirst off customer had stated that his clutch pedal never has worked properly since he bought vehicle and would have to use the toe of his foot to make the clutch work"This was a preexisting issue not known by our company and was disclosed by the customer after the factLater customer damaged his clutch bracket and slave cylinder (clutch hydraulics) when he brought his vehicle back by abusing the clutch pedal in front of myself and one of my techniciansWe replaced the bracket which he should have paid for but didn'tPart was bought from *** ***He had also stated that he let his friend try to bleed his slave cylinder Again we replaced the slave cylinder at no cost to the customer.We provided customer a courtesy rental paid by our company for almost a weekWe returned the rental vehicle togetherAfter leaving the rental car location with the customer he drove his vehicle with road rageAt a stop light he cut off a vehicle that had full right of wayHe almost caused an accidentWhen he made his right turn he drove over the sidewalkCustomer stated to me that he does not have a lot of patienceThis was an indicater to me that he abuses his vehicle regularly.Customer claims that he took his vehicle to a Ford dealership to have them try to figure out why he was still having clutch issuesI was told by the customer that he needed to replace the clutch slave cylinder again and the Ford part would be $Customer stated that he did not have the money to pay for the bill he incurred at a Ford DealerI offered to pay $cash, which was done and requested him to make a copy of the bill for my recordsHe has failed to provide any bill or returned to me the damaged part that was replaced.Customer is making statements as far as not trying to resolve his issueCustomer has failed to bring his vehicle in for inspection on numerous times with no common courtesy to call and cancelHe asked for my email address, which I gave him on occasions asking that he email me his issues and what he would like as resolution. Customer never emailed me. Customer called and made appointments within a week period. In every case, he never showed up and never called to cancel. When he finally came in, it was unscheduled and without his truck. He arrived by motorcycle. He admitted that he had inconvenienced the techs and tied up the lift for other customers by not showing up as scheduled (as a lift had been reserved for his appointment times). Customer fails to understand his repairs may take more than one day to fix which he claims he doesn’t haveCustomer wants a refund on all parts and labor spentCustomer wants free repairs and moreThere is no defects with the engine that was replaced or any documentation from any other repair shops to substantiate his claim. The customer was told to bring his vehicle back for inspection many times due to the amount of work that was done which is practiceCustomer was very difficult to work withCustomer has admitted to lying about statements made to me about his repairsCustomer has no documentation of any repairs done by Ford or any other repair shopsCustomer is upset due to spending $4,plus dollars on his purchase of the vehicle which he chose to doI feel his real problem is that he has regrets spending his life's savings as he stated to me to fix his truck

My response, Kevin's Automotive will be glad to refund the cost amount for two radiator hoses and beltsThe fluids that customer claims were not added statement was falseWe added fluid in front of the customer so I don't know why he continues to state he needs a refund for thatThere was no damage done to the engine because it never over heatedThe engine coolant temp sensor was working properlyThere was no boil over or any issuesNo warning light either***'s statement The reason I was there in the first place was because there was no coolant in the vehicle Kevin knew that and when I came to pick my vehicle back up and there was no coolant in there damage could have already been done when they were test driving it thus putting me in the same situation that I was in the first placeBefore I came to your shop I did not have these issues I'm having nowResponse, The statement that he now makes that there was no issues before bringing his vehicle to us is falseThe vehicle has a possible fuel issue and at times may not run right*** stated to me that he assumed that issue would be fixed with the replacement of the engineI explained that if the issue was there before its not going to change after replacing the engineIt needs to have further diagnosing and time to find additional problems*** did not allow us to have more time because all he wanted was his truck back as soon as it could be runningSo his issue is not with the engine we replacedAgain,*** had stated that he bought the vehicle knowingly that it had this problem***'s statementAnd after my vehicle left your shop all these new issues kept popping up and they weren't issues of old age they were issues of your people not installing the parts the right way or not using quality partsI have never had so many issues with new parts that were being put into my vehicle until now with your shopI don't feel that your technicians are qualified to do the work that you say they canI went to your shop because I trusted you and I feel you took advantage of me I spoke to several other customers that have went to your shop and they also have had similar issuesAll I want is for the work that you said you did correctly to be checked over by certified technicians and that no extra damage was caused by you while it was at your shopAnd if your so confident on your work and your business I feel that you would be trying to do whatever you can to make your customers feel more comfortable with your work cause let's be honest Kevin you did some really shady things when you had my vehicle every or times it was in therePlease do not take any affence to this because that is not what this isAll I am out for is for the issues that were not there to be corrected by someone I trustThank you. Response, There was no issues with the quality parts that was used with his repairs*** has caused his own problems by the way he abuses his vehicle*** wants to blame his problems of spending his savings on a plus year old vehicle upon my company instead of himselfNo one made him bring his vehicle to us under duressHe needs to understand he is not driving a vehicle that has a couple years of driving on it*** failed to mention that his speedometer is not reading the correct miles and hasn't for years*** asked us to repair that problem for himWhich we would not have done anyway*** fails to acknowledge that we located and bought old parts for his repair which he was not charged for which exceeded the cost of any belts and hosesThe statement that he brought his vehicle 7-times back is falseI am convinced his claims that he took his vehicle to the Ford dealership for repairs was a lie because he still has not provided any documentation of any kind of repairs or inspectionsNo invoices for parts that he claims had to be replacedHis claims have no value with out themI have been waiting on his proof that he does not have for monthsI feel this claim against my company appears to be a scam to get a free engine replacement and free repairsThis is not a customer who is trying to resolve any issuesThere is no proof that he spent money at Ford or any other repair shop to show we did defective workThese are only his opinionsThis case needs to be closedI have always worked with my customers on any issues or repairs*** chooses to be difficult and unrealistic Thank you, *** ***
