We at Kessinger Construction strive to be the best we can be. With no advertising, just word of mouth, we have been in business approximately 32 years. We are far from perfect but like to always make our customers happy and completely satisfied. Before ever paying for the job in full our customers...
go over the finished product for any discrepancies. Complaint D# [redacted] had also looked at the finished product and paid for the job in full afterwards. When bidding on the project, Mr. Terry Kessinger recommended to the home owner that the exposed aggregate concrete steps needed to be sealed to complete the look and to protect the finish. Complainant did not want to pay the extra cost of Kessinger Construction to seal the steps stating he would do that himself. When the quarter size area was pointed out by client, in the finished project, response of Mr. Kessinger was that the sealant would cover and protect any imperfections. As of August 31, 2016 client has not sealed the aggregate.Project was the steps to be replaced between existing porch and sidewalk in exposed aggregate finish, Unfortunately every load of aggregate concrete has a different texture and rock combination, this was discussed with client. Client chose to go with the aggregate to match existing finishes on thesurrounding concrete in the area. Terry Kessinger agreed to the job with the home owner knowing the differences would occur.Honestly the return trip to the home of complainant to fix a quarter size imperfections was basically overlooked. With the amount of rain we have had in the area in the past months, getting a time when, it was dry just slipped Mr. Kessingers' mind. A single phone call after the complainant did not get a return trip in his time frame, for the repairs, would have been appreciated. It was never our intentions to not return to make repairs and satisfy the client. On August 31, 2016, Mr. Terry Kessinger went by Complainants home to do repair to his aggregate concrete steps, job is finished and completed. Please see attached two pages of photos taken beforeand after completion of project.Thank You,[redacted]
