Complaint**.Kennon did not repair my unit correctly and also caused water damage to my ceiling as a result of his repair. He offered no refund. **. Kennon's service was requested to repair water leaking from the unit in my attic. He came by on July 13th to repair the leak and advised that the condensation pipe needed to be unclogged and that to do this it would cost $85. He also said he would put a couple of tablets in the pipe to keep the issue from recurring. Upon his departure, he advised that "I should hope that that was what was wrong with the unit and that it's not a hole in the pan which is causing the leak." After his service, there was water in my bedroom closet ceiling as well as additional water in the attic. Please note that for the leak for which his services were rendered, I'd had a container under the unit to catch the water and emptied it accordingly. When I called him back to advise of the leak in my ceiling and of the additional water in the attic, he asked me to send him photos of the water which I did. He came back and I went into the attic with him at this time and he then removed the cover to the evaporator coil and identified that as the source of the problem, quoting me a repair price of $650. He also tried to convince me that during his initial inspection and service that he did not see the container which was placed there to catch the leaking water. He also tried to convince me that water was leaking from both sides of the unit and that was what caused the water to my ceiling. This is/was not the case and the only time that occurred was after he allegedly unclogged the condensation pipe. I later had two other HVAC persons to provide an estimate for repair and also inquired with them about the leaking from both sides and they advised if that was the case, it'd still be leaking now as the unit was still being run. I'm very disappointed that at no time was I offered a refund of any kind since the repair was not successful. Moreover, it appears to me that based on the comment made related to hoping there was not a leak/hole in the evaporator coil pain there was knowledge of what the true problem was. Additionally, I asked **. Kennon what would be the repair cost to replace the coil and the furnace. His initial estimate was $2500 and when I immediately advised that I'd received a quote much cheaper, within seconds he suggested that he could possibly repair it for around $1800 after he checked on the supplies, etc. I would not recommend his services to anyone else as I think he has deceitful practices.
