Kennett Glass

Review: I spent about $18,000 to have the bathroom remodeled. Kennett Glass put the tempered glass in my shower door. While away on vacation, the glass door shattered. The company is telling me that they will not replace the glass unless I pay another $300. The door is about 5.5 years old. According to the internet, shattering glass is a problem with tempered glass. ABC and NBC news have both reported this is a problem. They also state that the companies usually replace the glass. Kennett refuses to do anything about the problem. The manufacturer of the shower door, [redacted] told me to refer the problem to the glass company. [redacted] who did the rest of the remodeling does not want to get involved either. I feel this is unfair, and Kennett Glass and [redacted] should split the cost of the glass. [redacted] recalled their shower doors with the same problem and replaced them.Desired Settlement: $300 or to replace the doors at no cost to me.

The company has refused to replace my shower door unless I pay for it. They are replacing it this week with me having to pay for it. I do not feel I should have to pay for it.
