See attached file - letter to customer & invoice Our office had made several attempts to contact customer before complaint was filed I cant help his voice mail was full & he didnt answer his phone Customer should have informed Tech he no longer wanted the board replaced
when the tech called to schedule return visit As with most HVAC companies our company has a hour minimum charge The additional 1/hour was office personel dealing with ordering the boardl still working for the customer We had pulled strings to get the board under warranty since the Limited Warranty certifacate was for the previous home owner The warranty doesnt transfer to new home owner Customer has no warranty on unit I made an error reading service ticket & hadnt realized the board not been installed..Even though board was not installed customer still had tech return to his home Tech checked out unit Tech recommended changing out board since in the fall the customer will have issues with the heating side of unit Now board will not be covered by warranty with our company or any otherThe board has been returned to supplier that assisted with getting board under warranty Customer stated tech left several times on first visitl tech left once to provide a dozen filters for the customer since we cant carry every size on our trucks In short we feel justified in charging the hr for labor But we have adjusted the customers invoice We dont feel it is productive to argue with this particular customer I sent letter & invoice to customer by registered mail requiring signature to guarantee delivery.Thank YouSherry B***- All American Mechanical

[redacted] of [redacted] who in turn contracted us because we are Class A  licensed in the state of Virginia. We disagree with [redacted]'s assessment of the project. We completed 100 percent of our contract and we expected 100 percent payment. We suggested that this matter go before a judge to be decided, because we have documentation proving that we did in fact complete 100 percent of the contract. Several things were completed that were outside of our contract without asking for additional funds to try to help better the project outcome.In conclusion customer has remitted final payment, we consider the matter closed but we still welcome any opportunity to prove that we completed 100 percent of what we were contracted to do.
