address on file did not result in any returned mail to SRHS due to an undeliverable address. When Mr. [redacted] called, we updated the address immediately.   Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System checked into this account and confirmed with the collection agency that this account has been closed and returned from their system. Additionally, the request for this to be removed from his credit report was sent from the collection agency on 8/24/2017. Credit bureaus only update their system every 30 days, so depending on what day of the month each agency updates, it could take through 9/24/2017 to not show.    A copy of the “credit deletion” letter supplied by the collection agency that confirms his account in question being removed was placed in the mail to Mr. [redacted].   We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] experienced inconvenience, everything should be resolved at this time.

The patient missed a payment in May which resulted in a temporary
removal from the established payment plan. In addition to mailed statements
outlining outstanding balances, the patient also received a follow-up call from
[redacted] on June 10th.
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System has worked with the
patient on this matter and contacted [redacted] with the result that
[redacted] may resume her monthly payments as previously agreed. Spartanburg
Regional Healthcare System has also verified that her credit report has not
been affected.

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System reviewed this patient's account and followed up with a phone call to talk about his concerns.
