Myself and two other ladies went into Kelly's Nails to get our nails and feet done around 3:10 pm on July 25, 2020. I had payed for a set of gel nails for myself, a pedicure and set of gel nails for one lady, and I ended up paying for another set of gel nails for a second lady. All together I had spent over $200.00 on services at Kelly's Nails. While present getting our nails done one lady was cut on the finger by a nail technician. The other lady (a minor) showed her nail technician a picture of exactly what she wanted and did not receive what she asked for and being as though she was a minor the nail technician gave her gel nails instead of regular polish thinking she wouldn't notice the difference and it wasn't until I was ready to pay for her nails that I was made aware of what had happened and that she did not receive the nails that she had asked for or the polish. There is a price difference between gel and regular nail polish, gel nails cost about 20 dollars more, so the nail technicians were able to get over on this minor. My nail technician was done about 30/45 minutes faster than the lady getting the same set of nails and that started before me. All of this meaning my nail technician rushed on doing my nails. Not even two hours later my nails began to pop off after leaving the nail shop. I then began photographing that my nails were popping off. I called Kelly's Nails and informed (***) the manager that 6 nails had already popped off and that I wanted a refund on my nails which cost $50.00. They had me drive far from out of town to come in for a refund. I get there only to be told that I could not get my refund and that unless 8 or all nails fell off I would not get one. *** went from saying that to 'I can't authorize a refund the manager *** has to and he's out of town'. Then she says they don't give refunds at all . Her stories kept changing she went as far as to say that my nails were made bad/thin & unless I sit down and get all my nails taking off no refund would be issued.

Refund To resolve this problem I want my refund. I payed them for a service and that service was not done correctly and the manager *** stated that it was not done correctly so I want a refund. She kept making up lies to get out of giving me my money back. She even said that she had heard me wrong on the phone she thought I said only one nail had broken. This was ridiculous I want my money back this was horrible customer service after giving them so much good business/money.
Hi, my name is***. I'm the general manager of the nail shop. I am very sincerely apology for the bad experience that you had been through.
I had spoken with*** who is manager at that time. She was offered the full refund with one condition that she have to take all the nails off so to make it fair for both Party but seem like the customer is refused.
Plus, we have a policy that NO refund will be given for any services.
In this case. I will make one time exceptional that I am willing to give the full refund on it. Hopefully that will help.

*** stated to me that policy states I could not get my refund at all unless eight or all nails had fallen off. Six of my nails had fallen off within a day or two when I initially complained about the service then later all had fallen off. I did not refuse anything. All I want is my full refund for this beyond horrible service so I do accept this response.
