Kelley's Septic Tank Service

Review: I contacted Kelleys Septic Tank Service on 8/26/13 regarding septic tank pumping service. I spoke with a woman named [redacted]. I selected this business because it was local to me. I had retuned from vacation on 8/25/13 and noticed changes in my septic system that caused me concern that it required immediate pumping. I explained these changes to [redacted] and asked for an appointment as soon as possible. I was using my system on a limited basis as to not overtax it while waiting for service. I was given an appointment for 8/28/13. I informed her the septic cover was already it was exposed and marked. I agreed to receive a phone call on the evening of 8/27/13 to set the time for the appointment. No one called. I contacted Kelleys in the morning of 7/28/13 and it took an hour and a half for someone to contact me with a time for my appointment. I was asked to be home between 1-2:30pm, and I agreed. [redacted] called at Noon, an hour before my appointment time window, stating the driver was way ahead of schedule and was already at my house. I told her I was on my way and would arrive in 15 minutes. [redacted] called me again 1 minute later and said she needed to verify the address, as they driver could not find the exposed septic cover. I confirmed the address and that I was a few minutes away. When I was one mile from home, I saw the Kelley service truck driving away. I called [redacted] again. She reported that the septic cover was not uncovered and the driver had a very busy schedule so he left. I told her again, it was uncovered and marked. The driver was one hour early and had they arrived at the appointed time, I would have shown them if they could not locate it. I requested the driver return and was told that would not be possible due to their busy day. This was not plausible, as they arrived an hour early to my appointment. Nor did I feel that was my issue, as I was present at the appointed time and prepared for the work to be completed. I requested to speak with the owner, [redacted], and she was not available. I requested again that they provide service as scheduled today and reiterated my need was fairly urgent. [redacted] said it was not likely that they would, but she would try to call the driver again. [redacted] called a final time to report the driver would not return on this day and in effect, they were refusing to honor my appointment. Kelley Septic Tank Service has now left me in a situation where I am several days into a problem with no resolution. Given the nature of the service, every additional day could be leading to costly damage and increasing the potential for bio-hazardous septic overflow into my home.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: No settlement requested - for
